5–9 year coatings. Multi-stage paint correction included. Hydrophobic finish, gloss enhancement.
Single or two-stage. Removes swirls, scratches, water spots. Foundation step before any coating.
Steam extraction on carpets and seats. Leather conditioning. UV-safe protectant on plastics.
Weekly hand wash, decontamination, interior wipe-down. For coated and uncoated vehicles.
Self-healing urethane on high-impact panels. Track-package and full-vehicle coverage available.
UV-clouding removed. Sealed for 2-year clarity. Pairs with maintenance plans.
Most undersold ceramic jobs fail because the shop skipped correction stages. Here's what each stage actually does, and which one your paint needs.
A single light-cut polish pass. Daily-driver baseline — refreshes paint that's still healthy underneath.
Heavier compounding pass to cut defects, then a refining polish to restore gloss. Concours-level finish on most paint.
Three-machine-pass workflow. Cuts deeper defects, refines, then finishes for show-car gloss. May include wet-sanding on the worst panels.
Not sure which stage your paint needs? Most owners under-spec because they haven't seen their paint under a sun gun yet. Tell Alex what you're seeing — we'll guide you to the right starting point.
Ask AlexWe coat with what enthusiasts actually buy — CQuartz UK and Gtechniq's Crystal Serum line. Every tier includes correction first; the coating just locks the gloss in. Warranty stays active when you keep up with annual maintenance.
Daily-driver friendly. The gloss without the concours obsession.
Premium daily protection. Two-stage correction, two layers — the middle most clients land on.
Concours / weekend-warrior. For people who actually drive and still want show-car paint.
Self-healing urethane on the panels rocks actually hit. Manufacturer-backed 10-year warranty (XPEL Ultimate Plus 10). Transferable on resale for $99.

For coated daily-drivers, we run pickup-and-dropoff anywhere in San Diego County. Free for members, $40 each-way for non-members.
Tell us your office address, garage code, and a 30-min window. We arrive in a wrapped sprinter van — clean, professional, branded.
Drop our courtesy car at your front door, take ours. Insurance on us. Most clients don't even pause their day.
Coatings and PPF still happen at the climate-controlled studio. Maintenance and interior detail can run mobile or studio — your call.
We text when your car's en route. Drop your loaner, walk out to a freshly detailed daily-driver. Most jobs back same-day.
We come to you within 25 miles of San Diego — Point Loma, La Jolla, Coronado, Mission Hills, Carlsbad, Encinitas, and most of San Diego County between.
Pick your coating chemistry and how long since installation. We'll show what your paint needs this month, what's coming next, and which membership tier covers it cleanly.
Iron, tar, and bonded contaminants build up over months. Chemical decon + clay restores beading and prevents premature coating failure.
Recommendations are typical maintenance cadences — your studio inspection always trumps the slider.
“I've been to three other shops in San Diego before this. None of them prepped the paint properly. Apex stripped, corrected, then coated — the difference under sun is unreal. Worth every dollar of the upcharge.”

Yes — when the paint is properly prepped first. The coating is the last 10%; the correction beneath it is what makes the gloss. Skipping correction is why most ceramic jobs fail at month six. We don't skip it.
Maintenance wash: 90 minutes. Full interior: half a day. Paint correction: 1–2 days depending on stages. Ceramic coating: 2–3 days including correction and cure time. Loaner cars are available on multi-day jobs.
Yes. Mobile concierge covers most of San Diego County — Point Loma, La Jolla, Coronado, Mission Hills, Carlsbad, Encinitas. Full coatings and PPF still happen at the studio for environmental control.
Yes. Affirm and Klarna are available at checkout for jobs over $500. We also run in-house plans for repeat clients on larger PPF builds.
We work indoors year-round — rain doesn't push us. If you're booked for mobile service, we reschedule for the nearest dry slot at no charge.
Free reschedule with 48 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations forfeit a $75 hold fee, since we block your bay. Members get one free no-show per quarter.
Hand wash only — no automatic tunnels, no brush bays. We recommend a quarterly decon wash and an annual top-coat refresh. Most clients move to a maintenance plan once coated.
Text us. Bird droppings, tree sap, fuel splatter — those etch fast. Members get same-day spot treatment included; non-members pay a flat $75 visit fee.
Different jobs. PPF (paint protection film) is a urethane layer that takes the hit from rocks, road rash, and impact damage — it self-heals minor scratches. Ceramic is a chemical layer that protects against etching from bird droppings, water spots, swirl marks, and UV. They stack: track-package PPF on the impact zones (hood, fenders, mirrors, rocker panels) plus ceramic over the entire car. Most daily-driver clients with paint they care about end up wanting both — PPF where rocks fly, ceramic everywhere else.
Default ceramic stack is Gtechniq — Crystal Serum Ultra on the Premium tier (9-year, accredited-installer-only), EXO topcoat for the hydrophobic finish. PPF is XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 — self-healing urethane with a 10-year manufacturer-backed warranty. Both brands run authorized-installer programs we maintain. CQuartz UK 3.0 is available for the Entry ceramic tier when budget is the priority.
Most comprehensive auto policies cover PPF replacement when the underlying damage event is covered — hail, falling branches, tree sap that etches paint. We document the install with timestamped photos, save the warranty card, and submit alongside your claim so the adjuster has everything they need. Hail-belt clients especially benefit. Confirm coverage with your carrier before booking — every policy is different.
Yes. XPEL PPF warranty transfers once for a $99 fee. Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra warranty transfers with manufacturer registration. We handle the paperwork on your behalf. Buyers who plan to sell or trade in the next 2-3 years specifically ask about this — protection that survives resale shows up on the next owner's pre-purchase inspection and adds documented value.
Multi-light inspection (LED bar plus sun gun) to surface every defect, paint thickness gauge readings on every panel, and a photo set under controlled lighting. You get a written paint condition report before we touch the car — clear coat thickness, defect map, recommended correction stages, tier recommendation. No surprises mid-job, no scope creep, and a clean baseline if there's ever a warranty question down the line.
Tell us about your car. Upload a few photos. We'll send a ranged quote within 24 hours — no surprises mid-job.
Pick one — we'll dig into the rest after.
Free vehicle inspection and quote. Zero pressure. Zero commitment. Just a real conversation about what your paint actually needs.
